Rain Bird Farms delta farmily.JPG

A family farm with deep ties to the North Delta Community.

Rain Bird Farms has been at our current location since the early 1960’s. At that time, the farm was operated by Bill and Hannah Wong with assistance from their children Clifford and Carole. Originally growing only strawberries, the farm eventually evolved and began selling trees and shrubs. Many of the greenery along 112th Street and vicinity have come from this property.

The farm is currently operated by Carole Wong Lee and her husband Jerry. Upon retirement from their professions in heathcare and academia in 2015, they ushered in the next evolution of the farm to sell vegetables and fruits in addition to trees. In 2020, Rain Bird Farms partnered with Mark Vanderende, a local beekeeper and owner of The Foraging Bee to house hives on the property.
